On 30th August 2013 Self Publish, Be Happy presented a five-hour printing performance by Sacha Maric during Chart Art Fair in Kunsthal Charlottenborg, Copenhagen. Inspired by the surroundings, Maric produced a series of black and white portraits and still lives in situ and subsequently created a publication that remixed the artworks and the people of the fair, capturing its lively spirit and energy. Each publication includes an insert that is risograph printed and an original print.
SPBH LIVE is an ongoing series of printing performances. With each new event, artists are invited to create content by interacting with a specific place and its people and then through an intensive printing workshop, produce a publication live in front of an audience. SPBH LIVE explores the nature of time-space based performances and their endurance through photographic documentation.
