Book Description: “Second chance” is about the Second Chance School of Mytilene on the island of Lesvos in Greece. Second Chance Schools are public, adult education schools. The school’s main aim is to help trainees regain their lost confidence due to long-term feelings of failure and social exclusion. This self-published edition consists of two books. The first book is a series of anonymous portraits of students, teachers, as well as photographs from the school area, recording the school ecosystem and its ramifications. The second book documents the collected student manuscripts, answering questions about their past and their hopes for the future, which, in some cases, constitute comprehensive confessions of their lives and recollections. Supported by Phaenography.
